DJ Keytronikz (or Keytronikz) is a hip-hop record producer, disc jockey and music engineer from Raleigh, North Carolina.

Keytronikz was born Keyon Tahji-Qasim Spearman in January 29, 1997 at Clinton, North Carolina. Spearman was diagnosed with high function autism at the age of 3.

Spearman witness something that he loves and he has a passion for and that was music. Spearman sees his father carries numerous of vinyl in his crib since Spearman was little. Spearman grew up listening to a variety of music genres like old school hip-hop, R&B, soul, funk, electro, pop, gospel, reggae, latin, world, rock and more.

At the age of 10, after his mother bought him a keyboard, Spearman taught himself how to play an piano, by playing songs he listen and grew up to. His mother was surprised by his amazing talent. As his inspiration, Spearman grew up and listening to producers like The Alchemist, Just Blaze, 9th Wonder, Khrysis, Nottz, Pete Rock, J. Dilla and more. After looking up to those guys and learning their sound, Spearman established himself as an producer. At the age of 13, Spearman discover another talent, which was DJing. He scratched one of his father's records by accident with his hands , but until he enjoyed it. He loved to do it.

Spearman changed his stage name from "DJ Keynote Speakaz" to "Keytronikz". "Keytronikz" developed backronyms for the name including "Knowledgeable Eternal Young Truthful Royalty Optimistic Noble Intellectual KingZ", "Kingdom Endangered Young Terroristic Rage Oblivion Noisome Insane KillerZ" and "Kingdom Equality Why Truth Rule Cipher Now Eye King Zig-Zag-Zag".
